A VMA test and personal paces, with a flat-equivalent target and effort-based pacing on the climbs. Then an 8-week periodised plan — hills, downhill work, race-pace simulation and taper — delivered in Final Surge, straight to your watch.
Start before mid-October for a full 8-week block.
Everything about Escalade prep (in French) →
Your goal, your running history, your weekly availability and past injuries. The plan fits your life, not the other way round.
A 6-minute test (half-Cooper) gives your maximal aerobic speed. Every training pace is derived from it — no guesswork.
Load weeks as well as recovery weeks. Easy volume first, then race-specific work. Sessions sync to Garmin, Apple, Polar, Suunto and COROS.
Missed sessions, fatigue, travel: the plan moves with you. A mid-plan field test re-calibrates your paces.
Enter your VMA, or the result of a recent race. With your VMA you get the zones used in every Samandari plan; with a race, paces and predictions from Jack Daniels' VDOT method.

Amin supported me towards my running goals, the Geneva Marathon and the Course de l'Escalade, with personalised plans and advice. My training took my current level into account and kept me injury-free. His follow-up also kept my motivation intact throughout my preparation! (translated from French)
Aymeric M.Geneva Marathon · EscaladeI was lucky enough to be coached by Amin for a half marathon and the Escalade last year. The training plan was very clear and built around my paces, and Amin listened to my schedule and to the difficulties I ran into during the training blocks. Professional, but also cheerful and approachable. I can only recommend him! (translated from French)
I went from beginner to a 2:44 marathon in a little over three years — with a coach of my own.
My medical training shapes how I coach: reading fatigue, spotting the signals that call for a doctor rather than a harder session, and progressing load so that you're still running in a year. Coaching is not a medical consultation — but it is built by someone who knows where the limits are.
No. Plans start from your real level, including a comeback after years without sport. The first block is precisely about building a base without getting injured.
No. Amin has a medical degree, but coaching is not a medical consultation: no diagnosis, no treatment. If you have chest pain, fainting, a known illness or an injury, see your doctor before training.
